Another GaNFast Win For Consumers Over Old, Slow Silicon Chips.

DUBLIN, Ireland and FREMONT, California — (PRWeb) Navitas Semiconductor Limited and HYPER® by Sanho Corporation today jointly announced their collaboration on the HyperJuice: the world’s first stackable GaN fast chargers – featuring multiple USB outputs and ‘pass-through’ AC power outlet.

Smaller than a box of mints, HyperJuice comes in 2 sizes: 65W (3 USB ports) and 100W (4 USB ports). 100W is more than enough for Apple’s largest MacBook Pro, with additional outputs for tablets, phones, audio, etc. Each of these GaN chargers can be stacked on top of each other to enable charging up to dozens of mobile devices and other home appliances, from a single AC outlet. The 1,500 W-rated ‘pass-through’ AC power is available for game consoles, large-screen TVs, and any other high-power applications.

Gallium Nitride (GaN) is a next-generation power semiconductor technology that runs up to 100x faster than old, slow silicon chips, with dramatic improvements in energy savings and power density. Navitas’ GaNFast power ICs integrate GaN power (FET) with drive, control, and protection to enable up to 3x more power in half the size and weight. GaNFast power ICs have been used in the mobile and consumer fast charger market since 2018, with tier-1 adopters including Lenovo, Xiaomi, OPPO and NVIDIA. Now, GaN’s high performance and high reliability are exploited in an exciting new way with Hyperjuice stackable fast chargers.

“The first of its kind, HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger, truly expands your USB-C charging capability by allowing you to increase your charging power and number of ports as you go, all the way to a 1600W supercharger with 64 ports, all from a single power outlet and in a compact, space-saving form-factor,” said Daniel Chin, CEO and founder of HYPER. “GaNFast technology is the high-speed engine under the hood that enables such small size and cool running – even at full power.”

“Navitas had great feedback on Hyper’s original, ground-breaking 100W charger when it debuted at CES earlier this year,” said Gene Sheridan, Navitas Co-Founder and CEO. “When I saw Hyper’s new stackable concept – it was a “Wow!” moment. GaNFast power ICs are easy-to-use, ‘digital-in, power-out’ building blocks so designers are free to be creative at a higher, system level and deliver great customer benefits and experience.”

HYPER is launching the HyperJuice via a Kickstarter campaign, where early-bird backers are able to get the HyperJuice Stackable 65W for $48, 40% off MSRP of $79.99 and the HyperJuice Stackable 100W for $59, 40% off MSRP of $99.99. HyperJuice is expected to start shipping in December 2020 upon successful Kickstarter funding.
