EE Times ‘Silicon 60’ ranks Navitas, the GaNFast™ Power IC leader, as 2018 top startup

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.–(PRWeb)— Navitas Semiconductor announced today its selection to the prestigious 2018 Electronic Engineering Times ‘Silicon 60’ startup ranking. Navitas exceeded selection criteria including: technology, intended market, financial position and investment profile, maturity and executive leadership. EE Times has published the Silicon 60 since 2004, and the latest list includes companies across a broad range of semiconductor categories that include analog & mixed-signal, wide-band gap materials, machine learning, quantum computing and wireless, among others.

“Navitas is delighted to be recognized by EE Times, an award which reflects deservedly on the pioneering innovation, skills and dedication of the whole team,” said Stephen Oliver, Navitas’ Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, adding “The recent consumer availability of next-generation GaNFast™ chargers and adapters is testament to the performance and maturity of the technology.”

Dylan McGrath, Editor in Chief of EE Times, explained “The companies identified in our annual Silicon 60 all represent tremendous technology innovations and are the best quality startups we see.  Navitas’ GaN technology is clearly a prime example of the right product at the right time”.

Navitas will showcase the world’s leading GaNFast power IC technology to the Consumer Electronics Show 2019, demonstrating to customers, partners and journalists how GaNFast power ICs are creating a new class of mobile and consumer power solutions. The company will utilize live demos to showcase five different applications enabled by GaN power IC technology which are up to 3x faster, smaller or more energy efficient as compared to existing solutions.

CES runs January 8-11 in Las Vegas, NV. The Navitas’ booth will be at LVCC, South Hall 3 booth number 30061.
