Strong team accelerates revenue ramp in fast-charging mobile & consumer markets
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.–(PRWeb)— Navitas Semiconductor today announced a distribution agreement with WT Microelectronics to strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate the penetration and revenue ramp of GaNFast™ power ICs across China, Taiwan and Korea. The world’s first GaNFast power ICs enable simultaneous MHz-frequency and highest-efficiency operation. These advances translate to smaller, lighter, lower system cost power conversion in mobile fast chargers and adapters, IoT, TVs, EV/Hybrid, LED lighting and new energy solutions.
“Navitas is extremely excited to partner with WT Microelectronics,” said Stephen Oliver, vice president of Sales & Marketing for Navitas. “GaNFast technology opens the door, and WT’s proven reach, strength and experience closes the deals. With coverage across the region, we can identify, win, and track business from OEM design office all the way to the contract manufacturing locations, in this US$30B market.”
WT has 36 offices and more than 2,000 employees in the partnership area, with teams dedicated to support Navitas’ own rapidly-growing local sales and field application resources.
“With GaNFast, we are at the start of a new era in power conversion, and WT has the line card, experience and customer relationships to exploit it fully”, explained WT’s Vice President of Marketing, Johnny Ou. “Partnering with Navitas gives WT a new, complementary revenue stream in mobile fast-charger, adapter, IoT, TV and higher power applications”, he added.
